Manchester United Prepared to Pursue “Special Player” Joao Palhinha

Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a summer move for Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha. The 27-year-old arrived at Craven Cottage from Sporting Lisbon last summer and has since become a regular under manager Marco Silva, impressing with his performances in the Premier League. United are said to be among three top-flight clubs interested in the Portugal international, with Chelsea and Tottenham also keeping a close eye on him. Palhinha has been dubbed as one of the signings of the season and has won more tackles than any other player in the Premier League this term. United boss Erik ten Hag views midfield and attacking reinforcements as his top priority this summer, and Palhinha could prove to be a shrewd acquisition to bolster his options in the centre of the park. However, it looks as though United will have to beat off competition from their rivals to secure Palhinha’s signature.
