Fury is eager to climb back through the ropes following the collapse of talks with Oleksandr Usyk’s camp over an undisputed clash in Saudi Arabia. Reservations have been made for Fury’s next contest at Wembley Stadium on July 15 and 22, and it is believed that the opponent is likely to be one of these two contenders.
Ruiz Jr famously upset Anthony Joshua in 2019, making him a credible opponent for Fury. The Mexican fighter has long been campaigning for a shot at the Gypsy King, and Fury has also expressed an interest in fighting him.
Zhang Zhilei is another contender, having stunningly stopped Joe Joyce in London last weekend. While he could also run it back with Joyce if a rematch clause is triggered, his management has confirmed that he wants to fight Fury in China.

Fury’s British rival, Anthony Joshua, is in formal negotiations to fight Deontay Wilder in Saudi Arabia in December. This potential showdown has been confirmed by all parties involved.
