According to reports, Sunderland are looking to trigger the buy clause in midfielder Edouard Michut’s contract this summer. Michut joined the League One team on a season-long loan from Paris Saint-Germain in August 2022, and has been impressing under Tony Mowbray ever since. The 20-year-old has already caught the attention of clubs in the Premier League, with Fulham thought to be among those interested in signing him. It has now emerged that Michut’s contract includes the option to buy, which the Black Cats are keen to exercise.
